Get up close and personal with the Flanders Classics!
  • Day by Day

    1. Friday 3.04.20
Individual arrival in Brussels and transfer to Izegem.
Bike handover and warm-up tour. Collection of race numbers at Oudenarde. Anyone joining us today can transfer direct to Oudenarde, collect their number, then transfer back to the hotel with the group.

    2. Saturday 4.04.20
Tour of Flanders Granfondo (138 km).
Collect your race number and dive headlong into today's fabulous adventure. There's a choice of two circuits for the 15,000 cyclists: 138 km and 16 walls (the main and most historic ones), or 78 km with 12 walls -Kwaremont, Pateberg, Koppenberg, Berendries, Steenbeekdries, to name a few. Several meeting points are planned with our support van for mechanical assistance and refreshments. Ferri will be leading our group.

    3. Sunday 5.04.20
    Tour of Flanders Elite.
Transfer by van towards Kwaremont and taste the true grit of this Belgian challenge, as the "A List" champs fly past no less than 6 times. On foot we then move up the Pateberg, the unforgiving wall where the group will do the honours for us twice over – with only 10 km to go after the second fly-past: Cancellara,Van Mark, Pozzato, Sagan... who's going to clinch it this time? After the race, back to Izegem for the night.

    4. Monday 6.04.20
    Paris-Roubaix (100 km).
We will pedal the last 8 stretches of the legendary Paris-Roubaix, setting off from the Forest of Arenberg. To save some energy for the final sprint into the historic velodrome, we can always choose to cycle along the rough track that runs parallel to the racing route – and then drink in that legendary grand finale. Overnight in Bruges.

    5. Tuesday 7.04.20
Bruges and Gand Wewelgem (80 km).
Visit historic Bruges and head along the roads of the classic Gad-Wewelgem race, including the ascent of the Kappelberg wall. The wind and relentless ups and downs invariably add to the thrill and emotion, leaving us just enough energy for the next day. Return transfer and overnight in Bruges.

    6. Wednesday 8.04.20
    Bruges – Cycling Rest Day.
There is always the chance for some time on the bikes but from previous Classics campaigns we have found that today is the perfect chance for our guests to take a well earned rest before the demands of the upcoming Paris Roubaix Cyclo Challenge. Beautiful Bruges allows you to relax and enjoy a well earned drink or two. Did you know that there are over 1200 original Belgian beers to choose from? Overnight in Bruges.

    7. Thursday 9.04.20
Bruges to North Sea Cycling (80 km).
Belgium only has 70 km of coast on the North Sea and your ride today will take you to the Belgian seaside at Knokke-Heist. The ride to the Belgian coastline follows the cycle path from Bruges and is your first chance to ride 100% ́vibration ́ free!

    8. Friday 10.04.20
    Old Flanders Route (50 km).
This morning we say goodbye to Bruges and transfer to Oudenaarde. Cyclists will have the opportunity to reacquaint themselves with their favourite section of ́cobbles ́ so to speak! In our experience it is important to have this final chance to ride the Flanders cobbles as the spring conditions in Belgium mean not every cobbled berg (climb) is always in perfect cycling condition. Extra practise also makes perfect and previous guests have found that on the second or third attempt they have managed to scale the Koppenberg or Pateberg climbs without stopping!

    9. Saturday 11.04.20
    Paris-Roubaix Granfondo.
Granfondo day! Our Roubaix-Roubaix loop traverses Aremberg Forest (safely skirting around it) and covers the last stages of the legendary "Cobbles' Race". Triumphal finish at the Roubaix velodrome, which has provided the home stretch to this Classic race for over 100 years.

    10. Sunday 12.04.20
    Paris-Roubaix Elite.
Transfer by van to watch  the historic Carrefoure de L'Arbre stage, where we join thousands of celebrating fans to cheer on the arrival of the winner. We will be sure to cheer in the cyclists right to the very last (who always deserves the loudest roar!). Transfer to Brussels airport and end of tour.
